The two-year I-League ban has been lifted on legendary football club Mohun Bagan. The All India Football Federation, the governing body for the game in the country, has instead fined the iconic Kolkata-based club Rs 2 crore. The club will resume the season on 0 points. Mohun Bagan were banned last month after they were found guilty of refusing to come out after the first half against archrivals East Bengal in protest following crowd violence in the Derby match.
