People clash with police during Durga immersion in Uttar Pradesh

Several people including a couple of policemen were injured when irate mob clashed with police during immersion of Durga idols in Azamgarh and Barabanki districts of Uttar Pradesh today.A report from Azamgarh said irate mob torched a police jeep and several other vehicles during a clash at Muktiganj bazar under Bardah police station area. The clash took place when police did not allow the immersion procession to pass through the area of another community.
