Crime wrap: Woman gangraped, set ablaze

A 23-year-old woman set herself on fire after allegedly being gang-raped by four persons in Deoria, UP. Depressed over the incident, she set herself ablaze on January 28th. The victim was rushed to the hospital where her condition is now stated to be stable. On the basis of a complaint, U.P police has lodged a case against the absconding accused. Congress leader Akhilesh Pratap Singh has demanded justice and compensation for the victim.
