BJP-RSS are politicising Ganga at Allahabad meet: SP

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet minister Mohammad Azam Khan has blamed the BJP and the RSS has stoked another controversy by his comments. The controversial SP leader says BJP and RSS who are holding a meet at Allahabad during the Kumbh mela are polluting the Ganga further. But Azam Khan has not blamed only the BJP, he has also hit out at the current Congress govt in Uttarakhand for pollution in river Ganga. Khan accuses the govt there of intentionally overlooking illegal quarrying along the banks of the river. Azam Khan says the sand mafias in Uttarakhand are being permitted to extract sand and stone from river banks and that the administration in the hill state is hand in gloves with the sand mafia and industrialists.
