Maharashtra: 3 sisters raped, killed

Even as the horror caused by the Delhi Gangrape incident is yet to settle, another such shocker has surfaced in Maharashtra. The autopsies on bodies of the three underage sisters who were found dead in a farm well over the weekend, have shown they were raped and murdered. The girls aged 11, 8 and 6 had gone missing on February 14 after they failed to return home from school. The savagery meted out to the girls led to huge protests in the region with people taking to the streets demanding action.
