Dhoni, Modi have 'Below Poverty Line' card

It's a slap in the face of govt's plan to uplift the poor. It has now emerged that getting a Below the Poverty Line Cards is child's game. In Amravati district of Maharashtra, BPL cards have been registered in the names of the state's Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, cricketer MS Dhoni, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and other celebrities. The expose has just highlighted the apathy on the part of the Amravati district administration criminals carrying out the scam right under the nose of the officials, under fake identities.
