Jitan Ram Manjhi asks Paswan not to raise old issues, says ‘will sort this out’

Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday downplayed Ram Vilas Paswan’s comment that he would not back those accompanying him in the NDA fold, saying the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president should not raise old issues. “It is up to them whether they will support or oppose, but they shouldn’t bring up old issues. I am going to speak to him. We can sort out this issue within the NDA,” said Manjhi. Paswan had earlier said that he would welcome Manjhi in the NDA, but would oppose those planning to become a part of the alliance along with the former Bihar chief minister.
