Attack in Chhattisgarh : Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh reach Raipur
NewsX: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi visited the injured survivors of the Naxal attack. The two senior Congress leaders visited Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur.
More than 600 CRPF personnel, including CoBRA commandos were rushed last night to sanitise and take control of the Naxal attack site.
The Centre mobilised the CRPF personnel to not only take control of the area but also launch search and rescue operations. It is suspected that some Naxals amy still be present in nearby jungles.
Top officials of the force, deployed for anti-Naxal operations in the state are visiting the encounter site today.
