Govt. forgets it special powers to tackle Naxalism

NewsX: While Chief Ministers' conference on Internal Security brainstormed about the armed and intelligence operations against the Maoists, perhaps the strongest weapon to tackle growing Maoist menace is Schedule V of the Indian constitution, that has been completely forgotten. Fifth schedule was incorporated in the Indian constitution to protect and safeguard interests of the backward and oppressed tribals, it gives overriding powers to governors.
