Supreme Court: Minor age remains 18

NewsX: Supreme Court has rejected the pleas seeking to reduce the juvenile age fromt he current 18 years. Minors aged under 18 years of age and committing crimes like rape, murder and robbery would be treated under the Juvenile Justice Act. This order is a setback for those seeking harsh punishment for the minor accused in December 16 gang-rape case.
