NewsX: A simmering tension continues to gripp Darjeeling hills on the fourth day of the indefinite bandh by Gorkha Janmukti Morcha. Normal life has been paralysed as an indefinite bandh began on Saturday in Darjeeling to demand a Gorkhaland state, with a panchayat office being burnt down and protest intensifing. On the third day of the indefinite bandh a silent procession with the body of a GJM supporter Mangal Singh Rajput, who died after immolating himself over Gorkhaland demand, began its last journey in Kalimpong.
