News X: Geelani appeals German Embassy to call-off concert
Germany's effort to reach out to Kashmiri hearts with a message of hope and encouragement has been thrashed by the hurriyat.
Hurriyat chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani has stirred the hornest nest by demanding cancellation of Zubin Mehta's Srinagar concert saying it might have adverse effect on J&K's disputed nature.
Geelani has asked the German authorities to reconsider their decision to go ahead with their scheduled concert at Srinagar's Mughal Garden on September 7th.
He even called Germany highly irresponsible to organise such an event in disputed territory like Jammu and Kashmir.
