NewsX: Are jail workers responsible for Jaishankar's escape?

In a daring escape, an alleged serial rapist and murderer wanted in nearly 30 cases escaped from the High Security Parappana Aghara Central Prison in Bengaluru. Hailing from Tamil Nadu as a truck driver, Jaishankar is wanted in over 28 cases of rapes and murders by police of three states, comprising Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Jaishankar's escape came to light on Sunday morning when wardens came for inspection. Meanwhile police have launched a manhunt to get hold of this dreaded criminal. Karnataka home minister speaking on the issue said that he is convinced that the jailbreak was due to the lapse on the part of the jail authorities.
