The ball is in President Pranab Mukherjee's court now. Will he sign the controversial ordinance shielding convicted legislators? Or will he uphold objections of the Opposition.
Remember, after BJP the AAP party delegation met Pranab Mukherjee today requesting him to ratify the ordinance. In fact, Arvind Kejriwal stepped up his party's ante saying that they'll move SC if the President signs on the dotted line.
Meanwhile, sources have been telling Newsx that Pranab may wait for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to come back from the US to give his consent to the ordinance.
