Now that Rahul has had his way and the ordinance will soon be throne into the bin. Questions are being raised whether government will kill the Bill altogether?
But there has been no assurance from the Government on whether the Bill that is pending in the Parliament will be withdrawn altogether.
Shantaram Naik the head of Standing committee confirmed to NewsX that the final call on the Bill's future will be taken by the standing committee that meets later this month.
Government has been maintaining that there was an all party consensus on the need of the bill to negate the supreme court order that suggested disqualification of convicted legislators.
