Indrani Mukerjea wants to divorce Peter Mukerjea, seeks court’s permission

Indrani Mukerjea, the main accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, has said that she wants to divorce her husband Peter Mukerjea. She informed the CBI Special Court Special Judge HS Mahajanthat she wants a divorce from husband Peter Mukerjea and sought his permission for the same.
The judge, however, said it was a personal matter and did not require the court's clearance.
Earlier this year, Peter Mukerjea had conveyed through his lawyer that the marriage with Indrani has ended for him and that he was keen to get a divorce.
