Rahul Gandhi given permission by collector to hold rally in Varanasi

Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the Congress' campaign for the national election, may hold a roadshow on May 10 in Varanasi, the constituency from where the opposition BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi is contesting.
The Congress leader's Varanasi roadshow is being planned for the last day of campaigning in these elections, much as Mr Modi had chosen to campaign in Mr Gandhi's constituency Amethi in the closing hours of campaigning for that region on Monday. Varanasi will vote on May 12 in the ninth and last round of polling in this general elections.
