Power Minister Piyush Goyal to hold emergency meeting
Union power minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday held an emergency meeting with Delhi's lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung and other top officials over the power crisis in the national capital.
"I called an meeting with LG and Delhi's senior government officials to tackle the power crisis. Delhi's previous government has not put in an effort in electricity department. We are suffering because of the inaction of the previous government," Goyal told reporters.
There will be discussion on steps to be taken to tackle the power crisis, he added.
