Three people have been killed after violence in Rampur

There has been no let up in the spate of communal clashes in CM Akhilesh Yadav’s state. After violence in Saharanpur, a minor bike collision in Mehendipur village in Rampur flared up into a huge communal aggression between two groups.
The violence this morning led to killing of three people and injuring five.
No arrests have been made so far.Rampur, situated in the Muslim-dominated Rohilkhand region of UP, is Urban Development Minister Mohammad Azam Khan’s political backyard.Over the past few days Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing a number of such incidents with the chief minister facing flak for not being able to control them.
