UGC: Orders withdrawal of 4-year courses within 15 days
Two months after the heat and dust over Delhi University’s FYUP controversy has settled, autonomous universities like Symbiosis and Shiv Nadar University have been asked by University Grants Commission (UGC) to withdraw some of their courses now.
According to reports, UGC has asked Symbiosis, Pune to withdraw its four-year courses in liberal arts within 15 days. Symbiosis introduced it four years back.
Fate of at least 140 students hangs in balance and Symbiosis has said that it will protest against the decision.
