ABVP retains all 4 posts of DUSU

Voting is on to elect the representatives of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) on Friday and this time again the two arch rivals – BJP-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Congress backed National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) are in for a tough contest. As in the past, even this year, several students organisations are trying to ride high on the factors like caste, Northeast students’ issue, better facilities for the students.
Last time, the ABVP made a resounding comeback by winning three of the four central panel posts, including that of the president, in the DUSU elections while the NSUI could manage to retain just one— that of the secretary.
