Nepal earthquake:India Joins Rescue Operations In Nepal

As the worst earthquake in 81 years brought the Himalayan nation to its knees, the Indian PM launched ‘Operation Maitri’ to support the quake-relief efforts in Nepal, with New Delhi sending National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) personnel and 20 tonnes of relief material to its northern neighbour.
