Was speaker pushed into suspending the MPs to stop wastage of public wealth?

In an unprecedented step, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended 27 Lok Sabha MPs including 13 Congress legislators for carrying placards inside the house. The MPs have been suspended for the next five days for disrupting Parliament.
