We won't pay for the 5 star MPs, says Common man

An online community of activists has decided to ask Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and the Modi government to ensure that taxpayers do not have to foot the hotel bills of 27 MPs who did not move out of hotels after being allotted their official houses. The petition — initiated by online activist network Avaaz — wants the 27 MPs including Union ministers to be made to foot their `5.3 crore pending hotel bill. Nearly 12,000 people have already signed the petition.
