Stephen’s victims meet DCW chief

Two alleged victims of sexual harassment from St Stephens College on Tuesday appeared before the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), accompanied by their lawyers and women activists ahead of the college Principal Rev Valson Thampu's slated appearance before the commission tomorrow.They met DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal and briefed her about their cases. The DCW officials were tightlipped about the issue. Women's rights organisation, Centre for Struggling Women, and lawyers during their meeting with Maliwal pointed out anomalies in the sexual harassment laws at the college and university level.
