Amitabh Bachchan refuses 50 thousand pension offer from UP government

A day after the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced Rs 50,000 monthly pension for Yash Bharati awardees of the State, Amitabh Bachchan, also a recipient of the award, appealed to the UP Govt to redirect the amount for charitable schemes. While expressing his humbleness towards the UP government, Big B in a statement on Wednesday, said he will write to the UP CM regarding the same.
