Illegal roads along coastline?

5.8 Kilometre roads have been constructed in Chennai's coastal regulation zone in a blatant violation of their 2011 guidelines. Environmentalists & fishermen are up in arms over the construction of roads alleging that they directly impact the livelihood of the families of fishermen & also impact the marine life & ecosystem in the area.
