Displaying the height of inefficiency, the Mumbai corporators today for the fifth day battled to bring the Deonar fire under control but displaying the height of irony, their demand is for more funds.
While they fail to provide even clean air for the suffering Mumbaikars, they expect them to shell out extra money as funds!
The budget has now been increased to a whopping Rs 37,000 crores but where will this money go? Will it be used to better the quality of life? Remember 75 percent of the funds allotted last year lay unused and wasted.
Why do Mumbaikars hit the streets protesting? They will now be shelling out more to inhale air which is toxic!
