Jeremy Corbyn confirmed that the House of Commons will vote on a Brexit amendment on Monday to allow votes on alternatives to the Prime Minister’s withdrawal agreement. If MPs back the move in a vote, it would pave the way for the Commons to hold a series of indicative votes on the various alternatives to Mrs May's plan on Wednesday afternoon. The Labour leader, who favours a “close economic relationship” with the EU spoke of the “frustration” felt at the EU and in the UK with Mrs May and said, “it is time for Parliament to take over”.
