Transactions involving Indian companies surpassing $100 billion in 2018, trouncing the previous annual records is a landmark for the economy, says Sanjeev Krishan, Private Equity and Deals Leader at PwC India. According to Krishan, India is now increasingly moving towards the global norm of doing more buyout style transaction. He also threw light on how Indian private equity fund managers have gone through a huge learning curve and have finally learnt to saying " No" to deals. This is a marked shift from the time when most of the deals were intermediated and PE fund managers outbid each other on most transactions.
