Sussex PCC: Lots to learn for police in tackling stalking

A new report by HM Inspectorate of Constabulary, Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) found that police forces in England and Wales are failing to investigate stalking allegations properly. The spotlight has fallen on Sussex Police after 19-year-old Shana Grice was murdered by her ex-boyfriend in 2016. Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne said the national recommendations in the report were "quite surprising", and that a lot of forces are "not even on the path yet" in improving their response to stalking.
