China is ready to join Russia in denuclearization efforts of the Korean peninsula.
The remarks come ahead of the Pyeongyang-Moscow summit set to take place on Thursday.
Beijing's foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang emphasized... that as permanent members of the UN Security Council, China and Russia are closely communicating and cooperating on issues related to the regime and the denuclearization of the peninsula.
The official also expressed confidence that tomorrow's summit will help maintain peace and stability in both Koreas as well as facilitate the denuclearization process.
