పొడుగుపాడుపై తొలి పంజా.. వణుకుతున్న శ్రీకాకుళం తీరం || Oneindia Telugu

Rains have started to lash Podugupadu village in coastal district of Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the four districts in the state expected to be affected by Cyclone Fani. The NDRF has deployed 28 teams in Odisha, 12 in Andhra Pradesh and six teams in West Bengal for relief and rescue work. Over 30 additional teams are on standby with boats, tree cutters, telecom equipment said officials. NDRF teams arrived Ichchapuram, a Coastal town in Srikakulam District this Morning.

పొడుగుపాడు. శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాలోని ఓ తీర ప్రాంత గ్రామం. ఫొని తుఫాన్ విసురుతున్న తొలి దెబ్బను రుచి చూస్తోంది. తుఫాన్ ధాటికి వణికిపోతోంది. తీర ప్రాంతంలో వీస్తోన్న బలమైన ఈదురు గాలులకు చెట్లన్నీ నెలకొరిగాయి. మత్స్యకారుల నివాసాలు నేలమట్టమయ్యాయి. పలు ఇళ్ల పైకప్పులు ఎగిరిపోయాయి. గురువారం ఉదయం నుంచీ పొడుగుపాడులో నిరంతరాయంగా వర్షం కురుస్తోంది. సముద్రం అల్లకల్లోలంగా మారింది. ఉవ్వెత్తున అలలు ఎగిసిపడుతున్నాయి. జిల్లాలోని ఇచ్ఛాపురం, పలాస, టెక్కలి, సంతబొమ్మాళిల్లో ఏకధాటిగా వర్షం పడుతోంది.
