After their hit with "Chapel of Love", The Dixie Cups went on to release a number of hits including, "People Say" and "You Should Have Seen the Way he Looked at Me", continuing their success.

"Iko Iko" tells the story of a parade collision between the "tribes" of Mardi Gras Indians and the traditional confrontation. The Dixie Cups learned the song from their grandmother singing it. They reached #20 on the US Billboard charts in 1965 with their version.

This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
