Richard Morales, a political scientist and former presidential pre-candidate for Panama's Frente Amplio or Broad Front for Democracy Party provides insight as polls have closed in Panama's 2019 General Election. Richard says that Panama's fast growing economy is growing at the expense of its workers and the environment, and that the growing concerns of the great majority of workers were not included in the electoral agenda.
