With the Audi Q4 e-tron concept, the brand of the four rings proposes a compact electric propulsion SUV prepared for any type of use. The descending line that draws its roof, as well as its prominent wheel arches and large 22-inch wheels, make the Q4 e-tron concept a particularly dynamic aspect.
With external dimensions of 4.59 m in length, 1.90 m in width and 1.61 m in height, and with 2.77 m of wheelbase, the compact SUV is developed on the modular platform for electric vehicles ( MEB). It has a high voltage battery in the form of a wide and flat block and located under the floor, between the two axes, which allows advantages in terms of interior space, as well as outstanding dynamics.
Of the propulsion of the Q4 e-tron are ordered two electric motors, one located on each axis, which generate a total power of 225 kW. They are capable of accelerating the compact SUV up to 100 km / h in just 6.3 seconds. The quattro electric traction, without the need for a mechanical connection between the front and rear axles, guarantees the best motility on any surface and in any weather condition. If under normal conditions, for greater efficiency the Q4 e-tron concept works powered by the rear engine (150 kW and 310 Nm), when the driver demands more power, the engine located on the front axle (75 kW and 150 Nm). In curves at high speed, or on firm, low grip, the system redistributes the torque in a predictive manner, ensuring maximum traction capacity.
