Tap water holds peas in place in weirdly hypnotic display
This is the strangely fascinating moment some peas were locked in place when held under running water passing through a sieve.
The small vegetables were forced to the centre of the water flow and seemingly 'follow it around' when the sieve is moved, creating the strange visual effect.
The filmer explains: "I was rinsing off some frozen peas to clean and defrost them for my goldfish.
"When I was, the water was grabbing them, and it seemed like a fascinating and slightly unnatural effect.
"It looks like bad video games mechanics come to life."
The footage was captured on May 9 in Nottingham, central England.
