Hot for northern areas, rain to bring cooler conditions further south _ 051719

Good morning, the early heatwave is here to stay for many of the upper regions. Hongcheon in Gangwon-do and Uiseong in Gyeongsang-do Provinces will have highs soaring above 30 degrees Celsius this afternoon... Seoul will be just as hot but it'll be cooler in the south as a band of rain moves north.
Daily highs will range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Clouds will cover many southern areas today.
Southern provinces and Jeju Island will get good amount of rain... starting from Jeju this afternoon. Central regions however will have another dry and sunny Friday. But Seoul and the capital area could see showers from Sunday afternoon into Monday.
So just one more day of unseasonably hot weather today, readings will go down tomorrow and rain on Sunday will cool things down. The rain is likely to linger through Monday. Hopefully the amount is enough to ease the dryness in central parts of the country.
