What Makes You Beautiful (April 2013 - June 2013)

Segment 5 is "What Makes You Beautiful". Oh boy, let's get this over with. I don't care what you say, I like this cover. This performance is the perfect fit for this modern song! Jaret brings such a modern taste to this cover on a much newer song, compared to the usual selection of covers (Which usually range from 70's-80's songs most of the time). I definitely think Jaret does a perfect job covering this song as Chuck, because Chuck's voice is such the perfect fit for this song! But boy, Pasqually, he's umm...terrible. I mean, he's great singing backup, but the verse he sings is just awful. He sings terribly in this song! I really think his performance in this song is really lousy. Sure, Pasqually nailed You Spin Me, not to mention he'll later conquer other songs, but this song was just a really bad experience for him. It's ultimately a great song nonetheless. I actually recommend it. That's how top notch of a cover it is. It's probably the best take on a popular pop song. Not to mention, it breaks away from the standard, older school songs, and actually can attract the young kid demographic (Particularly the female group). This is definitely a surprising pleasure to listen to. A great performance, with obviously a lot of effort put into it.
