The disappearance of pollinators has caused alarm bells to ring all over the world, but the kingdom of the Netherlands seems to have found the answer. A messy stretch of tall grass, wildflowers and weeds in front of a train station may not look like much but is the key ingredient to solving the world's biggest environmental enigma. A study by the University of Vermont found out the population of Wild Bee in the United States has declined by 23% between 2008 and 2013. On the contrary, the different species of bees rose from 51 to 61, which is a good indicator of the ecological wealth of the Netherlands. The research further states that there are 34 million honeybees and 640 beehives all across the city.
