According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump said that while a trade deal with Chinese President Xi Jinping was possible this weekend, he is prepared to impose US tariffs on virtually all remaining Chinese imports if the two countries fail to reach an agreement. Trump reportedly also raised the possibility of imposing a lower, 10% duty on a $300 billion list of Chinese imports, as opposed the proposed 25% rate.
