Huge monitor lizards 'hug' intensely next to canal in territorial dispute

Locals were shocked after finding these two huge monitor lizards 'hugging' intensely at the side of a canal.
Nipon Posung had just started work a when he noticed the two reptiles appearing to engage in a fight outside his workplace in Ratchaburi, western Thailand on July 6.
Nipon said: ''They were trying to knock one another down when I saw them. Some of my colleagues said that they had been in this position for hours, fighting each other for quite a while.
''A lot of them live around here but don't come out often. I was also surprised because this was the first time I saw the reptiles fighting.''
