Scores of African migrants rescued from Mediterranean by Spanish coast guard

Spain's coast guard on Friday rescued 124 African migrants from the Mediterranean and took them to the port of Almeria.

The migrants were attempting to cross the sea to Spain in three small boats, according to the Red Cross.

According to local media, 27 of the migrants were women, several of whom were pregnant.
