Ganapathy: Anwar not qualified to be next PM

Former PKR Seputeh division chief P Ganapathy has opted not to appeal his expulsion from the party, electing instead to fire a salvo upon party president Anwar Ibrahim.

Ganapathy, who has been a member since 1998, said Anwar had failed to mend the cracks within the party and was not qualified to become the next Malaysian prime minister.

The latter had been booted from the party yesterday for breaching party disciplinary protocols by spreading and uploading allegedly untrue, slanderous news to other party leaders.

When questioned on why he would not be appealing his sacking, Ganapathy stated he wanted to be free to criticise PKR.
