How to add IDM extension on GOOGLE CHROME in windows 10 (Internet Download Manager)

If it doesn't work, then we'll need to manually install IDM extension in Chrome using following steps:

1. Open Google Chrome and click on 3-dots menu. Now select "More tools -> Extensions" option.

Alternatively, you can direct open Extensions page using chrome://extensions/ URL in address bar.

2. Now open Windows Explorer (or File Explorer/This PC/Computer) and go to following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager

3. Look for IDMGCExt.crx or IDMGCExt file.

4. Click on the IDMGCExt file and drag-n-drop the file on Google Chrome's extensions page.

Google Chrome will show following warning message:

Extensions, apps, and themes can harm your computer. Are you sure you want to continue?

Install_IDM_Integration_Module_Extension_Google_Chrome.png

You'll see Continue, Discard and Show all buttons. Click on Continue button.

It should add the missing IDM Integration Module extension to Chrome and you should be able to use IDM in Chrome.
