Fortnite World Cup for $3 Million .
16-year-old Pennsylvania native
Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf claimed
the top prize in New York City
over the weekend. .
The massive event was held at
Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens.
According to CNN, the
tournament was viewed
by over one million online.

The $3 million is the
biggest payout for the winner
of a solo Esports competition.
Coming in second to Giersdorf
at the tournament was
Harrison "Psalm" Chang.
For his effort, the 24-year-old
took home $1.8 million.
Californian Shane "Epikwhale" Cotton, another 16-year-old gamer, came in third place and won $1.2 million.
