A new survey shows there's a stark difference between male and female smokers in South Korea in regards to where they choose to puff on their cigarettes.
According to an online questionnaire conducted by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs,... a larger ratio of women said they smoke indoors, including in restrooms and corridors.
On the other hand, a larger number of men said they smoke outside, including on the street.
A researcher at the institute says the government should take steps to protect the health of women smokers who have a higher tendency to smoke indoors.
