Based on the true story of Frank Shankwitz, a founder of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A motorcycle cop with a troubled past meets a terminally ill boy who looks up to him as a hero, despite his many flaws. Through this unlikely friendship and a simple act of kindness, both lives are changed forever. As the officer makes the boy’s last wish comes true, he decides to pursue a new path, making a difference wherever he can.
