Single women are taking over the workforce.
Research by Morgan Stanley found that, in 2018,
41% of working women ages 25 to 44 were single.
It is estimated that by 2030, that number will increase to 45%.
The growth is expected as more women obtain bachelor’s degrees and start families later.
According to the research, single women outspend married women, which is benefiting the economy.
The growing presence of women in the workforce
will also push corporations to implement better support for employees
