MANILA -- Alan Javellana, the former president of National Agribusiness Corporation (NABCOR), admitted he met businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles twice at a coffee shop in Discovery Suites in Ortigas. But Javellana said he merely briefed Napoles on the operations of NABCOR since Napoles was a prospective investor. He added, whistleblower Benhur Luy also used to go to his office. At first, Javellana said he could not recall the non-government organizations (NGOs) Luy represented but after some prodding from senators, he gave in. He was also asked to identify lawmakers who had used NABCOR to funnel funds to eight NGOs linked to Napoles. ANC News Now, September 5, 2013
